Janice Powley
I started throwing pottery in my twenties in Canada. I was completely smitten with the creative process and after honing my skills, I set up a studio and bricks and mortar shop with my best friend.
Life dictated a different path to follow but several years ago I returned full time to throwing and creating contemporary functional ceramics. These days I sell my ceramic both online, MadeByPowley.com, and at events and fairs.
My pottery style has changed, my shop is now virtual but my passion remains constant! Producing pottery brings me such joy and it is my wish that this joy is passed on to my customers through my ceramics when the pieces are seen, handled and used by them every day.
