Sandra Cook

​I am a hobby potter, who really only started pottery classes in 2019. I had explored working with clay while studying for an Arts Foundation Diploma at Bournemouth College. I went on to study Fine Art Printmaking at West Surrey College of Art and Design. During lockdown I bought a standing kick wheel to try throwing - something I definitely need more practice at!!  I enjoy hand building and decorating a variety of objects. I am hoping that soon I will be able to get my own kiln, so I will be able to experiment more with glazes, clay types etc. I am interested in an eclectic mixture of subjects including sea, nature and faces.
